SALISBURY, MARYLAND – MARCH 5, 2020 – Advisor George Merritt of NAI Coastal and Senior Advisor Wesley Cox, CCIM of SVN Miller Commercial Real Estate announce the sale of +/- 2.6 acres of industrial land fronting Windsor Drive and Shipley Drive in Salisbury’s Northwood Industrial Park.
The purchaser, Simpson’s Towing, is an established towing and roadside assistance business in Salisbury with roots dating back to 1955. Simpson’s has a second location on North Salisbury Boulevard and will use this land to expand as their business continues to grow.
Merritt represented the buyer in this transaction and Cox represented the seller. Upon identifying the off-market parcel, Merritt contacted Cox because of his strong existing relationship with the property owner. For the benefit of their clients, Merritt and Cox worked together seamlessly to close the deal in roughly 90 days.
“In my nearly two decades of commercial real estate brokerage, I have seen few transactions that exemplify the definition of proactive broker cooperation like this one, and all for the benefit of both clients. George went out of his way to bring me into this deal because he knew it would make for a smoother transaction,” said Cox.
The close of this transaction adds to the list of deals settled between NAI Coastal and SVN Miller and further demonstrates the benefits of a close-knit brokerage community. For more information on this transaction, please contact George Merritt at 410-543-5115 or george@naicoastal.com.
