CAMBRIDGE, MARYLAND – 16 APRIL 2020 – Principal Chris Davis and Advisor Meredith Mears recently sold 5455 Moose Lodge Road, a +/- 60,000 square foot investment property off of Route 50 in Cambridge, Maryland. Todd Burbage, owner of Blue Water Development Company headquartered in Ocean City, enlisted Davis to sell the property confidentially. Mears represented the purchaser, another established developer and investor on the Eastern Shore.
“There’s a lot of activity in the market right now, commercial property inventory is increasing and bank rates are low; it’s the perfect climate for investors to make in-roads on building their portfolios,” said Mears.
The building is leased in full by R&M Performance, a company that specializes in the restoration of classic cars; they will continue operating their business out of the facility. Davis and Mears navigated due diligence and worked to close the transaction quickly, helping both the buyer and seller to capitalize on Delmarva’s current real estate market despite the hurdles presented by COVID-19.
