From First-Look to Settlement in Two Weeks
SALISBURY, MARYLAND— July 20, 2021— Advisor Christian Phillips of NAI Coastal recently co-brokered the sale of a prominent West Ocean City landmark, the Alamo Motel. Within two weeks of initial inquiry, Phillips successfully negotiated terms and delivered the property to final settlement.
“It was a real pleasure working with Christian Phillips of NAI Coastal,” said a representative of the purchaser, West O Cottages, LLC. “We were told by many that our timeline was unprecedented, but he made it happen for us. We are very appreciative of all Christian’s efforts to get this deal across the finish line.”
Originally constructed in 1946, the Alamo Motel features 40-guest rooms with several amenities including restaurants and bars, a swimming pool, volleyball courts and a stage for live entertainment. During the 2021-2022 tourist off-season, the property will undergo extensive renovations and rebranding.
“It was an honor to play a role in brokering such a pivotal transaction,” said Phillips, “As a Worcester County resident, I’m really looking forward to watching as the property’s new ownership introduces a fresh concept to West Ocean City. After decades of the ‘Alamo’, I believe locals and tourists alike will welcome the modernization and upgrades that my clients have in store.”
