SALISBURY, MARYLAND— March 1, 2022— The Principals of NAI Coastal are pleased to announce the expansion of Pure Family Fitness (Pure), a full service health club and fitness center located at 600 Glen Avenue in Salisbury, Maryland. Renovations to the facility’s neighboring suite are expected to commence in early March 2022 and will add +/- 15,000 square feet to the gym’s current +/- 60,000 square foot footprint.

The opportunity to expand naturally presented itself and we’re excited to add to our list of services and offerings.”
With the additional space, Pure management has announced their intention to expand the existing weight room, adding over thirty new machines to the facility’s already impressive lineup. A portion of the new square footage will be designated to functional and turf training while the remainder allows for the introduction of an indoor/outdoor competition grade powerlifting area.

After years of sitting vacant, 600 Glen Avenue was purchased by Gillis Gilkerson’s development team in March 2017. As the building’s anchor tenant, Pure Family Fitness was the catalyst that prompted the redevelopment project, enabling the building to become the multipurpose community center that it is today. Other tenants now include Peninsula Orthopedic Associates (POA), Capital Women’s Care, Valucentric, Willow and Mane, and CubeSmart.
