SALISBURY, MARYLAND— January 26, 2022— The Principals of NAI Coastal are pleased to announce Associate Advisor Shelby Gillis’ completion of the prestigious CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) Institute’s ‘Financial Analysis for Commercial Investment Real Estate’ course (CI 101).
The intensive program covered a broad range of key financial concepts used to analyze and compare commercial real estate investments. Upon completion, Gillis gained a comprehensive understanding of the ‘CCIM Cash Flow Model’ in relation to the quantification of investment return.
The CI 101 course is a bedrock class for real estate practitioners and the first in a series of coursework required to earn the CCIM designation. Designees are widely recognized as leading experts in relation to commercial investments and are known for their unique ability to help clients minimize risk through informed decision making.
“This course was invaluable to me as a relatively fresh advisor,” said Gillis. “I’ve found that I now have a deeper understanding of real estate investing and am sure that the knowledge gained through this class will stay with me throughout my brokerage career.”
Gillis plans to continue taking CCIM courses while working to achieve the Institute’s production requirements.
